Q. What made you want to start a free clinic?

A. I saw a need for not only those without insurance but for those with high deductible plans needing help with basic primary care. For many just seeing the doctor and getting labs costs too much for their budget but they may only need a 4$ med from the pharmacy.

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time?

A. Travel , hiking , gardening and scrapbooking

Q. What would you say to those considering volunteering?

A. Volunteering for a free clinic is rewarding in so many ways. It’s great to help others, but it is also fun to work in a clinic without all the paperwork hassles. Our doctors and nurses feel like this is what they were trained to do. They get frustrated with insurance companies and other administrative burdens.

A. I have a 3 legged pet goat named Lily.
